Welcome!
I believe that the practice of law is first and foremost a people profession. In order to provide excellent, cost-effective client service, it is important to understand the client's needs, values, and expectations. It is essential to build a relationship of trust so that the legal issues are identified, options are explored and that the most expedient and cost- effective course of action is taken.
I have a unique background that assists me in understanding and relating to my clients from a personal, business and professional prospective. Professionally, I began my legal career with a general practitioner in Burlington, and subsequently moved to a major Bay Street law firm focused on complex, high profile matters. I have worked with some of the most talented and highly skilled lawyers, both in Canada and internationally, and I have gained first hand experience in a practice that upheld the highest standards of professionalism and ethics. Ultimately, however, I have found that my true passion is working with people and independent businesses in a general practice setting, and as such, in the spirit of entrepreneurship I am excited and proud to now be working in association with Michael Hinchey to serve the people of Hamilton and surrounding area.
I have attained a broad base of business and life experience prior to the practice of law that assists me in understanding the challenges faced by my clients, and allows me to provide creative, flexible and cost effective solutions to legal issues. I have had an extensive prior career with Canada Revenue Agency and I was also the owner/operator of a retail business in Burlington which further helps shape and inform my understanding of the many varied issues and challenges faced by my clients. My goal is to provide practical legal solutions from a business oriented and compassionate perspective.
I invite you to contact me at the information provided on this website, and I would be pleased to meet with you so that we can discuss how I can assist you with your legal issues.
